The origin of “Trees in the Community Forests” was wishes of founder
The origin of these woods can be traced back to the values of Honda founder Soichiro Honda, who made a special point of not building concrete walls around Honda facilities that would block off communication with the surrounding community.

HondaWoods is about creating forest environments around Honda business sites in Japan that can be used to forge new connections between Honda and surrounding communities. Guided by the slogan "Vibrant forests for our children, for our communities" and drawing inspiration from the key concepts "regeneration" and "symbiosis," this initiative seeks to restore these woodlands to their youth and actively use them to give back to the community. Project was proceeded with the aim of it.
Activities focused on symbiosis
Among the "regeneration (tree felling, sprout update promotion)" and "symbiosis", ours is responsible is the utilization plan of the forest after logging related to regional coexistence. Employees, local residents, around school organizations, based on the utilization assumption of each office, planning to forest to continue to actively utilize from the garden ornamental subject, design, and we are the support of management and the like. In order to foster a sustainable environment, we would like to using the woods to forge connections between Honda the company, Honda associates, and local communities.
